Visit Cape Cod and take in America’s oldest professional summer theater — the Cape Playhouse in Dennis. For a big-city theater fix, the American Repertory theater (ART) in Cambridge is a nationally acclaimed company, and Boston University’s Huntington theater is a professional theater featuring comedies and classics in two of the city’s best theater spaces.
